Last Minute Help for the Holidays #1: Star Wars and Dora Ideas for Kids...and Adults

There are only a few more shopping days left until Christmas. And I’m here to help with some last minute ideas…

Let’s start with some ideas for kids…

There have been many different kinds of “Star Wars” action figures over the years, but none as special as the very first ones. And now they’re back…

This year, Hasbro has introduced the “Star Wars” Vintage Collection. The packaging for each figure looks exactly like the old original Kenner packaging complete with the Kenner logo. Even the figures for the newer movies get the retro look most of them never had.

It’s a great way to introduce new young fans to the classic toys. And I know a lot of adults who will enjoy them as well…

Books are always a great gift and here’s a unique one for “Dora the Explorer” fans,,,

Dora teams up with Shakira for World School Day in “World School Day Adventure,” a story written by Shakira. Dora and Boots travel the world to make sure each school has all the supplies it needs for the celebration.

The book, which is beautifully illustrated, not only teaches about different kinds of schools in different countries, it also teaches the importance of sharing and helping others. It’s a wonderful gift for Dora fans that kids and parents can enjoy together.

“World School Day Adventure” is available in both English and Spanish versions.
